About MacSoc

MacSoc is a new society open to anyone; we are a social society for all those interested in alternative computing and the use of open source software at the University of Southampton. Many of our members use Mac OS X and we’d love to get Linux users involved as well.

We run socials throughout the year aimed at meeting like minded people with general discussion of computing at Southampton. At the same time we are able to provide peer support should you run into problems whilst using your computer.
